How long does the parasailing experience last?
The total parasailing experience lasts approximately one hour from check-in to return, with your actual flight time in the air ranging from 10 to 12 minutes. This includes the scenic boat ride out to the launch area, your thrilling flight above the Gulf, and the return trip — all while enjoying views of Destin and the surrounding waters.
Can multiple people go parasailing at once?
Yes, our parasailing setup can accommodate up to two or three flyers at the same time, making it a perfect shared adventure for couples, friends, or families. Parking
Xtreme H2O dock (7 Calhoun Ave): use the public parking at the Destin Marina next to the launch. Spots go quickly on busy summer days — pile the crew into one car when you can.
Destin X (214 Harbor Blvd): one vehicle per booking parks on site, first come, first served. Additional cars go free to 310 Mountain Drive or $15 at 285 US-98 W; RVs and trailers use the paid public lot across the street.
Gilligan’s Watersports (530 Harbor Blvd): park free right on the property, first come, first served; overflow lives at 531 Mountain Drive.
Check-In
Zero experience needed — USCG-certified captains run every flight. Arrive 45 minutes early with a photo ID and your confirmation number; harnesses and the safety briefing happen at the boat.
Don’t forget: sunglasses with a strap, reef-safe sunscreen, and a light layer for the ride out.
